Sean Dendere is a director, designer & facilitator based in London, UK. His practice traverses both public and private sectors, where the personal and the commercial are not opposed, but intertwined, each informing and enriching the other. Whether leading a workshop, designing an identity, or directing a film, Sean brings a quiet intentionality to each output.

TALKS & WORKSHOPS
Led students from Eastlea Community School guiding them through archive research, to create collages that celebrate Newham’s past & present. The artworks are on display at Canning Town Library as part of the development of the new Heritage Centre, supported by the National Heritage Lottery Fund.
Independent Film Tutor | 2024 – 2025
Provided one-on-one tutoring to Skye McLean, a creative individual with complex needs, including dyslexia, dyspraxia and an emotional, social disorder.
Spoke at the CSM UAL Foundation’s Exploring Heterotopias event on 10 February 2025, organised by Sarah Campbell and Gabriel Birch. Speaking about the award-winning project: MWANA.
Commissioned by Arts Council for Creative People & Places in 2024. Sean Dendere delivered a workshop series for ten weeks titled ‘The Everyday Beauty’.
Spoke at the STORE PROJECTS Graduate Feast panel discussion about my practise, inspirations and my future (2023).
Spoke at the Green Table Exhibtion panel discussion at Bermonds Locke Hotel alongside Miroslav Radu & Ezenna Okotcha (2024).
Premiered ‘No Shoes Inside’ at Earth Hackney and participated in a panel conversation alongside the filmmakers Bafic & Penny Woolcock, moderated by Blu Smith for the Central Saint Martins Creative Unions Symposium in 2024.
Comissioned by Camden Spark in May 2024 to deliver a two-day design workshop to classes of year 3 students at a Camden Primary School.

‘RGB & Friends Zine’ – created by Sean Dendere, Eli Lawson-Adamah & Simon Munashe Dendere, was acquired by Photobook Cafe in 2019 as a permanent inclusion in their library.
Participated in the Youth WorldWide group exhibition at the Espacio Gallery in Bethnal Green. During this exhibition, presented a collection of fine art objects and prints.

Recipient of the prestigious 2023 Central Saint Martins' Museum Graduate Award: MWANA, was acquired into the CSM Museum & Study Collection, an accredited museum.
PCID Diploma in Professional Studies Bursary award at Central Saint Martins (2021)
